Masti India sketches

“If there is paradise on the face of this earth, it is this, it is this." - Indian Mughal Emperor....
Allow me to let you see the beauty of India through my sketches...been there and i was awed by its mysticism.
the majestic india gate...this 42-meter gateway commemorates more than 80,000 Indian soliders who fought during the war. The shrine is made of redstones showcasing more than 70,000 names of the soldiers inscribed on the arch. At the center of the gate is the shrine of the Amar Jawan Jyoti or “the flame of the immortal warrior”, which houses the tombs of the anonymous soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country.
the red and buff sandstoned- Qutab Minar, a historical victory tower ranging 236 ft. The place consisted mostly of intricately carved Islamic monuments that showed the splendid artistry of Islamic architecture.
we chanced upon the musical fountain which is in my personal view a once in a lifetime experience to see the wonderful synchronicity of lights, sound and water in such a melodious presentation
Somehow I am impressed with the Indians’ sense of patriotism by preserving their unique culture and heritage despite the global westernization. Indian ladies still wear the sarees customarily from home to office and just about anywhere they go. They feel that sarees exude their sensousness and womanhood.
As we stood at the gate of the Akshardham, we were so enamoured by its beauty. It is said to be one of the largest temple that showcase Indian artistry and heritage. The temple is built in memory of Bhagwan Swaminarayan who is known to be the torch bearer of India.
Indian tombs display great architectural design that truly fascinated me...
